A Thanksgiving Tale

This is the story of a dog name Molly.  All she wanted for Thanksgiving was some of the yummy turkey meat that her grandpa seemed to be playing with.

Before all her family gathered for dinner, she crept up behind Grandpa.

*casually whistling*  Whatcha doing?
Molly looked to the right of Grandpa...

What's that over there?

Molly looked to the left of Grandpa...

Now it's over THERE!
But she was not able to get her paws on any of the scrumptious meat.

Her family gathered and shared a good meal and good conversation.
Molly spent the time sleeping plotting on how to get some yummy turkey for herself.

After the meal was over, she noticed that Grandpa had gone back in to the magic room of delicious smells.

Aha!  I found you!
Again, she looked to the right of Grandpa...

I have easy access to the Jello but it's turkey I crave!
And she looked to the left of Grandpa...

I don't think he sees me coming...
Finally, she gets close enough to get her eyes (and nose) on the prize!

So close...so close...so close...

Because Molly had been so patient and not stolen any food, Grandpa made a plate of turkey JUST FOR HER!

VICTORY IS MINE!  I mean, thanks Grandpa!

And Molly and her stomach lived happily ever after
(or at least until she noticed the leftovers on the ride home).
