Bleu Adoption

As much as I adored Bleu, he needed a more active home.  I had two months with him and was exhausted and though he love me, I could tell he needed more (especially a yard).  He was adopted by Khrissy and Louie and it was love at first sight for them all (not pictured, their golden lab Della, who Bleu followed around immediately after meeting and is now inseparable with.  After signing the paperwork, we sat them down in the Bowen's yard and magic happened (note: Bleu was not much of a kisser).

SO PERFECT.  I get updated on Facebook occasionally and Bleu is loving being part of a family again.

Molly's Friends: Niko and Emmie

 Molly loves her friends, the Shar Peis, Niko and Emmie (she also loves their moms, Suzy and Donna).  We take turns visiting each other's houses on walks and having fun.

Molly is waiting at their front door, not wanting to admit no one is home.

 Donna and Suzy are both nurses and love to show pics of their dogs to patients. Molly is now included in that group - Donna get's a lot of wow at the picture below.

 They all even came out to visit the Bowen house to take advantage of playing outside.

Two Danes and a Civic

Sleepy Dogs

I have a bunch of Bleu and Molly catch-ups to do from the summer.  

One thing I love to take pictures of are sleeping dogs.  There's just something about a big puppy sleeping that makes me happy.  Bleu loved to sleep next to me on the couch.

Yes, I even look at you when I'm sleeping.

 So of course Molly decides SHE needs to be on the couch next to me if possible

 I was always hoping that the pups would get along and start being cuddly, but no luck.

Molly is wondering what the heck Bleu is doing next to her bed.  Bleu hilariously would growl at Molly for being too close, even though he initiated the closeness.

Both are touching the same toy...cuddle proxy?

Do rump to face cuddles count?  (Bleu started out on the bed and slowly made his way close to Grandma, then Molly came in and took the bed).

 One day, Bleu had his toys all over the floor, so I went to the extra room to lay down and read and both dogs cuddled with ME!  IT was so lovely.  I was in that blank space in between.

This last picture was usually how the pups hung out together.  Bleu loved the love seat as he could quickly look out the windows behind him.  Molly loved being able to see her mama and all the doors to the room.
